Connection Vitals is a diagnostic aid. Measurements and recommendations should be interpreted as evidence, not a guarantee about a network, ISP, router or application.
Diagnostic information
Connection Vitals provides network measurements, heuristic application-impact labels and troubleshooting suggestions for informational purposes. Results can vary with browser behavior, device load, Wi‑Fi conditions, routing, VPNs, congestion and measurement endpoints.
No guarantee
We do not guarantee that a score identifies the sole cause of a performance problem or that a suggested configuration will work on every router. Back up configuration and follow manufacturer documentation before changing network settings.
Availability
The service may change, be rate-limited by dependencies, or be unavailable. Measurement methodology may evolve; material revisions are versioned on the Methodology page.
Third-party services
Some measurement requests use third-party infrastructure. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply to traffic processed by those services.
